normal they will inquiry several different Chinese mold makers to get their quotations to compare. Why prices differ so much? 

Some is so high, seems not acceptable; but some are cheap. 

Please note, here is in China, price differ so much is common. Why? Because some mould company quote you the required steel, 

for example P20; but once you placed the order to them and send the deposit, they change the steel to another like 45#, 

heated it on the surface. That's why prices differ so much, and the same of mould quality.
